He has consulted with Brookeside and its partner firms for more than a decade before joining the company as a senior consultant in 2004. In February 2008, he became the first Brookeside Fellow—a half-time position that enables him to focus primarily on research, teaching and writing in support of Brookeside and the value of building loyal relationships.

Jim is a frequent speaker to major business forums and groups of CEOs and senior executives worldwide. He has been profiled and quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, CNN Money, BrandWeek, Advertising Age, and numerous other global and industry publications. He has also been a guest on CNN, CNBC and FOX Business.

Jim Kane received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Notre Dame, has served as guest instructor at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, and was an adjunct faculty member of the Pennsylvania State University.
